World of Warcraft has Social Benefits

img2WoW is the largest online interactive game for a good reason, all the people. There are some amazing social benefits to playing WoW that keep players hooked on the game. Family members, military buddies, friends from all across the country can stay in touch while slashing through monsters. Players also meet new people in the game and friendships get made through questing together, fighting a worthy opponent in a duel, serving in the battle grounds together, joining guilds or even making a great trade for a service. Wherever there is a player theres an opportunity to make a friend. Even good business contacts get made playing this game.
Playing WoW every month isnt free. You can pay month-to-month, every three months or every six months but when you factor in what you can get out of this game, its priceless. Playing for hours at a time with people who are far away from you can be cheaper than a phone call and there is no age limit for playing WoW. There are kids, teenagers, young parents, empty nesters and senior citizens playing. Aunts and uncles play with their nieces and nephews on the other side of the country and sometimes theyre on the other side of the world playing together
It has its own language that other gamers always recognize. You hear someone talking about their level 78 Tauren warrior and you instantly have something to talk about, even if you dont know the person. It can be the ice breaker between a grandmother and her teenaged grandson who both play and finally found their common ground. People you felt too shy to talk to at school or work are suddenly much easier to approach because theres a mutual area of conversation youre both comfortable with.
WoW has become much more than a computer game. It has become a meeting place for old friends, new friends, family friends and friendly families to gather together. It is a game for almost any age and no one knows when youre playing in your PJs.
